Start time is the same as day 1, staging is in the Sauk Rapids High School parking lot and the Start Line is on golden Spike Road. Bikers will race 213-miles through forest and bog to Virginia. The second bike day is a bit more treacherous than Day 1. Although there is less traffic, the roads are narrower, there are fewer shoulders to ride on and there are more turns. Not to mention the miles you racked up yesterday. This day features rolling hills in dairy country, ghost towns and the north woods of Minnesota as you approach Eveleth-Virginia-Mountain Iron. It's typically cooler than the first day.

4:00 pm

Average finish time for Day 2. Refreshments will be provided. Putting the bike on or in the support vehicle for the last time will be very close to a religious experience. Hang around in the park for a while, get to know your friends.

The Minnesota Border to Border will host the dinner and racer's meeting at the Choates Plaza Hotel in Virginia.

Once again, tired or not your attendance is required at the meeting, but it's right where the dinner was, so you won't have to move, and you'll appreciate that.
