MN To the Border

The “2B” (“To the Border”) is the new, shorter race we added in celebration of the 25^th running of the Minnesota Border to Border Triathlon and we are doing it again in 2009. The 2B is a three day, 150 mile event for two, three and four person teams. The 2B starts Wednesday, July 25^th at a great place, in Kettle River, called Korpi's Bar and Grill. From there you bike 90 miles to Mountain Iron, followed Thursday by a 30 mile run from Kinney to Cook, and Friday by a 30 mile canoe paddle down the Vermilion River to one of the most beautiful finish lines in the world at the Voyagaire Lodge on Crane lake.

 

The “2B” makes it possible for those who can’t get a full week off work or don’t have time to train for the longer event to still enjoy the great adventure experience that is the MNB2B-2B.
